Western Photography Guild
The great Don Whitman of Western Photography Guild provides item number 10 in our set.
The model is Hunter Mercalf, and the setting is classic WPG>
Another "home run" series, Jerry. This last pose is something unique, isn't it? Ad for the cylindic props...they emphasize our interest in the real subject of these shots.
Glad you enjoyed the set! The appearance of those props was more or less random, so it either just turned out that way, or my subconscious mind was working behind my back, LOL.
Beautiful series! They use a lot of long, cylindrical props in those days, didn't they. Such a blatantly Freudian thing to do...
ReplyDeleteLol! Yes, they did use those props, but they knew what they were doing. Glad you enjoyed the series.

DeleteGarçon de la montagne à la WPG.
ReplyDeleteMetcalf must be from the later part of Whitman’s career.
10 photographers presented by a fine blog that is a 10 ! :)
Thank you!
DeleteIt is a classic setting, like being on top of the world. Some excellent photos today! Thanks Jerry.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Pat!
