Atlas

Google provided the provenance for this one, but I'm leaving it in the series.
What we have here is the immortal Charles Atlas on a 1929 post card.

  1. Did Charles Atlas do any frontals that you know of? There's a tiny hint of peekaboo here. I'm sure you noticed it.

  2. A bare-butt postcard from 1929? Amazing, considering that by Federal law you could not even use curse words in private letters. Cf: The "Baseball Letter" which had to be sent by express since the profanity recounted in it would have been illegal to mail.-Dee Exx

    1. It would have pushed the limits, and remember, some postcards were not meant to ever be mailed.

  3. How many responded to his dynamic tension ads in the back pages of magazines ? :)
