Head of the line
Dee Exx sent me this picture of recruits waiting for their medical exams.
The guy at the head of the line is beefy and furry.
Even in the Viet war era, men stripped naked for these physicals. When was this shot taken? When I went for a physical back then, we had to let it all hang bare. But in those days, it was no big deal.
The guy behind "beefy and furry" is Tab Hunter. This photo is a still from the movie "The Girl He Left Behind," 1956. Tab would have been about 25 yrs old. I have no info on B&F. -- 2ndWave
I was coming to say the same thing, that the guy second in line sure looks like Tab Hunter...LOL..Apparently much of the film was shot at Fort Ord and used real sodiers, so perhaps the head of the line hunk is a real soldier...He's certainly my favorite...woof
I have this one and tried to find out who he is, IMDB lists a lot of "recruits" that were uncredited, but without a photo it's hard to determine who he is.
