Pups
Here we have two moderately hairy GIs and their five puppies.
Two marines on war-torn Agat, Guam during WWII. On left: Marine Private William Zeckman, and on right Corporal Harry Wells. Rescuing puppies was not unusual. Indeed, well-trained dogs with their strong sense of smell could pick up a scent over a mile away, and as such were a threat to the enemy. Killing a dog was considered more advantageous to the enemy than killing a soldier. -- 2ndWave
