Favorite location
Denny Denfield used this rock on the shore of San Francisco Bay for a number of important photo shoots. If you look closely, you can see one of the bay bridges at lower right.
Oui, à fine composition. Had Denfield ever provide the names his modèles ? I assume they would be athlètes and culturistes from the great San Francisco Bay région.
Some names have been passed down, but it isn't always clear if Denfield kept notes or someone simply recognized the models and added names later. I just took a quick survey of my Denfield collection, and almost all of the named models were men who worked for some of the other photographer, and thus were known among collectors.

The image should have been done in couleur as Denfield was known for his stéreo couleur images.
Color or not, it's a fime photo.

DeleteOh, wow.. One of my top favourites. The pose, the dark tan...perfection. I've never noticed that bridge before...looking at something else.
