I recently discovered the work of American photographer J. Wayne Higgs. He is actually known for his nude self portraits and is still active as far as I can tell. I will give him his own series soon.
This 1965 item seems to be Flandrin inspired, but his work is quite diverse.
A magnificent photo and an exceptional model. The lighting is also very sought after!!!

ReplyDeleteMr. Higgs was a heterosexual father of six who passed away last year at 83. He specialized in nude self portraits, and even published a full book of them.
