Robert Giard Day
We are overdue for another series on the work of Robert Giard,
and we start with the first of two reclining nudes in the set.
According to the Internet (FamilySearch), Mr. Giard is my 14th cousin, twice removed. But that depends on at least 2 rumored marriages between noblemen and commoners. More reliable records have him as my 9th cousin via various marriages.
