Sprawled
A rocky beach was the setting for this model in a sprawling pose.
For me it's very reminiscent of Benjamin Paul Akers' great 1858 sculpture, The Drowned Pearl Diver, in the Portland (Maine) Museum of Art. https://collections.portlandmuseum.org/objects-1/info/12055
I love this series of photos, except for this one. This photo reminds me of a crime scene. :-D
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what it looks like.
DeleteI find this photo very exotic. The placement of the model's limbs and that intriguing appendage between his legs!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite unusual.
DeleteTragédie, he has fallen from the cliff !
ReplyDeleteLicense dramatique from Denfield.
