The blurb along with this photo goes out of the way to mention that Mr. Nuckells brought his wife Debbie along for the Hawaii photo shoot. Oh, well. It also says that this shot was made at Barking Sands, a location now well known as an anti-missile defense installation.
Did they have to mention Mr California is married ?! There goes that fantasy !…:)
ReplyDeleteYeah, that made me wonder, too. This magazine was obviously pitched to gays from the get-go, but some gays find married guys to be especially desirable. I suppose it's also possible that the model didn't want people to think he was gay just because he modeled nude for a gay magazine. He might have made that mention a requirement for appearing. Roy Dean had his models sign standard releases, but it wasn't unheard of for extra clauses to be added.
