Ed Fury
Sword and sandals movie actor Ed Fury had a fairly successful film career
despite having appeared nude in a large number of photos.
Fury was one of the first to go full frontal after the war. Surprised his nude modeling didn’t hurt his time working in Hollywood, where as in Europe they could care less. Maybe that’s why Fury went to Italy. I read at one point he moved to Florida and was Mr Florida 1958, before wandering off to Italy. Steve Reeves and others had moved to Florida to get away from cliquish Hollywood and Muscle Beach only to find Florida didn’t have much to offer. Rex in DC

I read that Ed Fury went to Italy simply because of the opportunity to do feature films. Steve Reeves did the same thing, probably first.
