Desbonnet
A very reputable European website attributes this to Prof. Edmond Desbonnet.
The composition and staging make me think of Von Gloeden, although it is a bit tidier.
A splendid collection of props. I think I'm going with added, for this one. Although the perspective may imply otherwise. I like the idea that it could a heavy metal one.
Desbonnet was never shy about photographing men nude and even got some well known ones to pose that way. My guess is that this was so good that he wanted to publish it and felt obliged to add the leaf.

They were all fully worth of everyone's attention.
