George Platt Lynes Day
It's time for our quarterly George Platt Lynes series, and we start with one of his nudes
of Jared French which I have somehow not managed to post until now.
One of my top ten photographers. The documentary Hidden Master: The Legacy of George Platt Lynes can now be viewed on YouTube. An extraordinary man and an amazing time in our history.
Yes, the documentary is amazing. They not only showed quite a few GPL photos I'd never seen, but as Jeff says, the tantalizing prospect of thousands more in that sealed collection is stupendous. Hopefully, they will be forthcoming.

On the 1950 Census, George lists his 23 year old 5th cousin, once removed, Charles Chuck Frank Howard, as his Partner in the same household.
