19th Century Artists Study Photos
Kicking off Friday art day with some 19th C. artists' study photos.
This one is by Hermann Heid, a photographer whose work sometimes is confused with that of Igout.
I just tried it...Putting the foot there shifts the weight to his left. That allows the position of the left arm over he head to be stable..I enjoy working these out..
Delightful pose, especially the placing of the hands. The unusual position of the right foot stabilises the pose. I often use this ruse.
