Rip Searby
I have posted photos by Rip Searby in the past that were generously provided by Bryan B.,
but I managed to find this expertly lighted shot of an unknown on my own.
Thanks, Jerry, for yet another posting showcasing male handsomeness. It's nice to see those who are unquestionably MALE, and not ashamed to share and show it. Big Dude
Lamont is well presented by Rip Searby. Like several others, Searby left physique photography in the late 1960’s due to competition from more explicit fair. The leopard print drop cloth was popular with several physique photographers of that era….:)
Things got very crass in the late 60s, and a number of talented people left the business. Also, in my opinion the quality of the models went way, way down.
In the early part of Mizer’s career he had the pick of the military and beachside bodybuilders. By 1970 it seemed Mizer had to take what models he could get from the streets of L.A….:(
