Road Kill
I thought a fitting end to the Arthur Tress series might be Road Kill.
I have been studying his work for some time, it is magical and surreal and sometimes disturbing all at once. He stirs the imagination like no one else.
Disturbing as hell. Reminds me of the horrible roadside killers of California who targeted gay men, teenage runaways, hustlers and Marines back in the day. :( Also symbolic of someone used and abandoned….:\
It's a bleak and sombre image. I can't think what the meaning behind it might be.
ReplyDeleteThe ruts going to infinity are what get to me in this one.
DeleteThese are some truly amazing images. I was unaware of this artist before. Thank you so much.
DeleteMy pleasure to introduce you to Mr. Tress, who is still living and working.

DeleteYes. Someone I would love to have a conversation with.
