Most of these U.S. Navy men are doing their laundry in the nude. Maybe that was
a way of insuring that every last bit of clothing was clean at least for a day.
I'm not surprised. As this was in the era when social nudity was, in certain circumstances the norm. It's hot and wet so it's practical. Oh to return to those day...
Yep. (Though only male nudity.) Actually, millennial have always been split on the issue. Just chilling out naked, fine. But coercion is another issue.
Me personally, I'm naked except for work and shopping right now. This annus horribilis has given us that.
