Leroy Grannis
A pioneer of surfing photography, Leroy Grannis (1917-2011) wasn't too bad on a board himself.
He did some really classic shots, and this one in particular is a favourite.

ReplyDeleteIt's a Nikonos 35mm camera. It was specifically built to withstand this type of exposure to water without an underwater housing.
