Pond by a meadow
There's forest all around, but the main focus is the man, the pond, and the meadow.
The photo is by Antonio Arabia, and the model is David Oakes.
This is my fave, but I like the one of the male leaning on the tree, too. Jerry, thanks for another wonderful posting that showcases masculine beauty. Big Dude
I really love this photo. My files have the photographer as Antonio Arabia III, and he lived in Harrisburn PA. He worked as a tavern owner, and photography was a hobby. Apparently, this photo (and 2 others of David Oakes) were taken on his property. One of the other photos has Oakes in what looks like an abandoned cabin, with Oakes in much closer proximity to the camera, and more sensuous.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Big Dude. Glad you enjoyed it!
DeleteThat's a fine looking dude.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteThe forest in this photo is not just around the man, there is also a small tree with a very beautiful bush, I love this photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing out some important details, Albert.
DeleteAdonis der Waldwiese.
ReplyDeleteExzellent komposition von Arabia.
Perhaps his best work, although nearly everything he did was quite good.

ReplyDeleteI have those other photos by Mr. Arabia, and I think I have posted some here in the past.
DeleteYup, my favourite too. A nice balance between the magnificence of his physique and the beauty of nature. They complement each other perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI agree, and somehow the model doesn't get swallowed up by the landscape. Remarkable.
DeleteYou see both at once. Very nicely framed.
