Beard Trim
Myron Davis took this photo of a man getting a shipboard beard trim in 1944.
They were offshore just before the landings a Saidor, New Guinea.
The little known battles for New Guinea, among the most arduous efforts of WW2. New Guinea was seen as the gateway to Australia by the Japanese, hence the great effort made there to keep Australia safe. 🇦🇺🇬🇧
