Close friends

Our last shaving photo shows two guys who must have been very close friends.
Thanks again to Dee Exx for today's guest series!

  1. This series is unique and fun! Thanks to Dee Exx and you, Jerry. I wonder how hard it was for the males in the last shot to do that. Lol.

    1. You're welcome, Big Dude! I was wondering how hard it might have made them.

  2. Yes, thanks to you both! This was a delightful morning eye-opener. The intimacy shown in these, especially this last one, is just amazing and beautiful!

  3. These two don't just shave their beards. Otherwise why would they have distanced themselves from the others and gotten naked????

  4. I really enjoyed today's series. Altho beards (or bodyhair) have never really appealed to me, I could still thoroughly appreciate the intimacy and bonding exhibited in these photos. Thank you, Jerry!

  5. Do these two appear to not be alone? Looks like someone is behind the right shoulder of the one being shaved with possibly one or two sunbathing behind the shaver near the middle of the picture. May be that I'm seeing things.

    1. No, you were not seeing things. I took a good look, and I see them, too.

  6. D’entrejambe à entrejambe, certainement plus que de amis. :)
The sacred intimacy of men in combat is profound, more so when they have a rare break from war’s chaos, as you have shown in this well curated photo series.

    1. I have had an awareness of that sacred intimacy, although never the joy of experiencing it. Could you direct me to some reading on the subject?

    2. I know of no books on this subject, only what relatives had told me about the occupation in France and a few who were in the resistance, and certain relatives who served in the wars France fought in Algeria and Viet Nam.
Sadly many of my relatives who experienced these tribulations are now deceased and all I have are memories of what they told me.

    3. I'm very happy you have the memories. Sometimes that is all we have but have much gratitude for them. Memories reside in brain and in the heart and are inextricably connected.
