Not that we should be surprised, but Scotty Cunningham included his own photos in the catalog.
Bruce Bellas must have corresponded and recommended models to Jim French as they shared many models like Mark Edwards and Mike Kevin. As for Scotty, Scotty Cunningham is his real name and he first posed for Bellas in 1966 and several times afterwards into the 1970’s just before Bellas’ death in July 1974. The Cunningham brothers lived in Huntington Beach, CA at the time they posed for Bellas. When Bellas died Scotty sold Bellas’ house in Rossmoor/Los Alamitos and the Bellas portfolio to Kurt Dietrick/Kent Schlesselmen. On a blog I read years ago they interviewed one of Scotty’s brothers who said Scotty was a family man and would not be too happy about any of his past work being revealed to his family and keeps a low profile….:)
Thanks for adding to our limited knowledge. If Cunningham was his real name, he must be in the Witness Protection Program because there is nothing out there about him.
Edwards was more well known than Cunningham posing as he did from the 60’s into the 70’s. Cunningham was loyal to Bellas and did well it seems. Rex in DC
We don't really know much about Scotty Cunningham beyond the fact that he stayed with Bruce to the end and then dropped out of sight after collecting his inheritance. There are some indications that he was more interested in Bruce's money than preserving his legacy. It's complicated.
