New Orleans was the location for this 1965 Les Demi Dieux photo. Having lived in that city, I can tell you that this was and is a typical street scene.
So true with the heat and humidity of New Orleans, he is dressed appropriately. Up through the sixties how you dressed determined how you were treated, hopefully he did not have to put up with too much :)
