The technique on this is pure Douglas of Detroit, but I don't have any documentation.
Meanwhile, it certain fits today's low hangers theme.
Douglas Juleff was a master photographer and his double exposures are especially interesting and unusual. Don't know of any other vintage physique photographer used this technique.
All I can add is that in my collection I have this guy's name as Bob Hille. I've 5 photos of him, 2 of which are double exposures. This one and another where he is holding a bottle of Johnson's Baby Oil, and one of the exposures is a rear view. Nice.
