Achilles was the inspiration for a number of Classical statues
Splendid! Though it occurred to me that the live male could have been trying to pull a thorn from his foot, given his surroundings. LOL.
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it, a thorn makes a lot of sense in that setting, and the resemblance to the statue could easily be coincidental.
