I can't tell exactly what the Wehrmacht soldier at center front is doing on that slab of rock,
but the overall scene is a bath/laundry/ablution combination.
Not sure what that soldier in the center is doing either. I do wonder about the tan/ dirt on most of them. Just being from their necks up. Makes me wonder where they were stationed. Desert? Or somewhere really dirty.

ReplyDeleteI think those are tans and not dirt. They would have washed themselves before their laundry.
