My favorite Igout (or is it Heid?) model appears here in a jaunty pose with a sword.
Les Trois Mousquetaires (The Three Musketeers), 1844, by Alexandre Dumas père (the elder). Their names were Athos, Porthos and Aramis. The young d'Artagnon leaves his native Gascony to join the Musketeers, but his letter of introduction is stolen, and so he has to wait to join the others and hangs out with them instead for the glory. So make it 3½.
Yes, Gabriel, there are more here to see. Look on the right side of this page and click the "Igout" label about a third of the way down the list. On the next screen that appears, scroll down, and there are several among the other Igout models.
You say what, monsieur? I am what? Zout! I shallenge vous to zee duel. Ici, on Monsieur Igout's lovely carpet.
ReplyDeleteThree (or is it four?) Musketeers, anyone?

DeleteWonderful..his curly hair and tache add to the air of swordsmanship.
ReplyDeleteI love the angle at which he's holding his head and the way it parallels the arm pulling the sword.
DeleteToo bad I don't know the name of these models, this one is very beautiful, do you have more pictures of it?
