Robert Giard Day

In the eight months since I first posted the work of Robert Giard, I've come across quite a few additions to my collection, more than enough for a second series.  One thing I've learned is that this photographer has his own special way with light and shadow in some of his work.  Darrell Seated in Sunlight, shown above, is a very good example of that.

  1. Master of light and shadow indeed! This collection is filled with beauty reflecting his passion for his work. Each photo holds a story of it's own composed by the viewer.
Thank you Robert Giard and thank you Jerry! I could spend hours and hours with these.

    1. You're welcome, VV, and I agree about the story element. It takes us somewhere.

  2. I went on Google to see all about Giard as I have some relative on my mom's side who are Giard. He was born in 1939 in Connecticut which could be part of my family ancestors moving there like many French speaking Québécois. I passed on July 6 2002 at 62yo which is young. So he could be a far relative of mine.
