Alan Hale, Jr.
Better known as the Skipper on Gilligan's Island, Alan Hale, Jr.
appears here in a bathtub scene from much earlier in his career.
And hung like a horse. I could probably do a bulges series featuring just him. Google his dad, Alan Sr., sometime, and you'll see another fine bear specimen.
Alan Hale Jr. in his 1952-1953 Television Series "Biff Baker U.S.A.". Biff and his wife (actress Randy Stuart) own an Importing Business. They travel all over the World to find merchandise. They are Spies most likely and trouble usually found him. Alan Hale Jr. was 31 when this was made. The shows were written on a juvenile level and the Characters were portrayed in a "Namby-Pamby" Manner. Needless to say it did not last long.
Hard to believe Alan Hale Jr. is best remembered for "Gilligan's Island". It was even more childish than "Biff Baker U.S.A.". Sad to say I have not seen a good well made adult TV program since "Breaking Bad" ended in 2013.
I always thought he was a lovable teddy bear on the show, this gives me a new appreciation of him. By all accounts a very sweet guy off screen.

DeleteI know of his Dad, nothing escapes me when it comes to bears. Lol. Alan Sr. hit all the right buttons.
DeleteAnd he was much thinner!
ReplyDeleteTrue, but still on the burly side.

Delete"Written on a juvenile level." Sounds like a lot of TV then and now. Thanks for the info!
