Today we look at the very technically uneven work of John Barrington. Although he used very good models and usually posed them nicely, his photo developing and printing could sometimes leave a lot to be desired. Other times, however, he could be quite good technically, so expect some uneven quality. We start with the first of two unknowns in today's set.

Capricieux à Cannes.
Aside from his London abode, Cannes and Paris were places Barrington photographed his modèles. No doubt this bronzed youth was photographed at a pension on the Côte d’Azur by Barrington.
