Tinkerbell never looked like this.

  1. And I would love to know more about the gorgeous model in this photo. Anyone ever seen him before?

    1. The photo was shot by Bruce Weber and the model is Eric Nies.

    2. Thanks, Boz. I wonder who added the wings.

  2. Eric Nies by Bruce Weber circa 1992. Boz Bochner is spot on. Eric Nies was on MTV's "The Real World: New York" and later hosted "The Grind". I have seen this photo before but not with those wings.

  3. The wings seem to be a recent addition by somebody else. It was a perfectly fine photo without them! The original is not cropped so tightly, either.

    1. I was completely fooled by this one. I've even posted the original picture before.

  4. Néanmoins un très beau jeune homme.
Would not mind having him flittering about the garden :)

  5. This shot is in one of the books I have of Bruce's work. I took one look at this and ...WHAT?!! It is not offensive, but I am totally against original photos being manipulated in any way.

    1. If I had been playing closer attention, it would have never appeared here. Perhaps to my credit, I did run it through Google Images Search, but the wings must have thrown off the recognition software.

    2. Not your fault Jerry, it is those who tamper with perfectly good images. Drives me to distraction! Lol.

  6. From the photo book Bear Pond by Bruce Weber, published to benefit the New York AIDS Resource Center. Photo was taken in the Adirondack Mountains in New York 1990. What a time the 1980’s and 1990’s were for artistic male nude photography.
