Mystery Model Bobby Clark
The identity of this model (and the photographer, for that matter) has set off a healthy round of discussion and research. The name would appear to be Bobby Clark, and he appeared on page 27 of somebody's magazine. Anybody know which one?
This guy had be stumped for a while as I had his name as Bob Cleveland. I do not know which magazine this is page 27 of but I have a page with him captioned "Bobby Clark, Series 217" on the right side with "Art Ullrich, Series 216" on the left. He is sitting on a chair in front of what appears to be the same door as your photo - the sliding safety chain and curtain are the same.
He has very distinctive tattoos (unhelpfully covered up in your photo): a topless woman on his left forearm and what looks like a heart (maybe with an arrow) on his left forearm. I do not recall where I got the name Bob Cleveland from - it's been about 10 years now that I've been collecting physique/beefcake photos, from many blogs. I checked on malemodelsvintagebeefcake. blogspot. com, (my 'go to' for name attribution), but found nothing.

Good luck in your search for the elusive p. 27!
Thanks, cham! I appreciate your input even if there isn't a clear cut answere.
DeletePS He is wearing these (by now) infamous boots in 9 of the 12 photos I have of him!
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance, please check your Bruce of LA cowboy files and see if you think these may be the same boots. Thanks!
