Lightly oiled? Doesn't matter. The photo shows a magnificent male.
The oil here is just fine, and Don Whitman was always judicious in its use. It's when the model looks like he's been dipped in a barrel of grease that it gets to be too much.
Yeah, I've seen a few like that. Ever wonder how long it took them to get all that goo off their bodies? Did they use baby oil?
A good scrub with soap and water will get most oil off a human body. I don't know what sort of products they used, but baby oil has been around a long time, so that's a good candidate.
Wow, that abdomen. Yes, the light oiling adds just enough sheen, without distracting. I think I've said before, I always lightly oil for work. Artists have said that it improves muscular definition in flat fluorescent lighting. The goo tends to get absorbed as my skin is naturally dry and the studio heating rather dehydrating. Neutrogena body oil works well for me.
