Fake (probably) Sailor Day
I'm not saying that none of today's models could have ever been real sailors,
but most of them look like physique models who popped on sailor caps.
I agree on all points, and know nothing about the photo except that I like it. It does make me think of some of the pictures Pat Milo took in a walled garden or courtyard, though.
I hadn't thought about the pirate angle, but you're right. I've often wondered why these photographers used so many props, fetishes, and themes, but did so little pirate material.
I wish he wasn't a real sailor, he could stay closer to me longer to warm me up with all his hair mmmmmmm ;-) ************* J'aimerais autant que ce ne soit pas un vrai marin, il pourrait rester plus longtemps près de moi pour me réchauffer par tout ses poils mmmmmmm ;-)
He is gorgeous. Well, at least the hat is right. I like the way that his natural fur, bush and beard makes him tricky to age. Very effectively, displaying so many aspects of the male form. Delightfully centred on his fine full arcing penis with handsome glans.
This is from Colt Studio's Sailor Brothers photoset, which featured two different models shot separately. This model would later be named Dick Trask and starred in other photosets and films by Colt and others.
Real sailor or not, he floats my boat! The background is hardly nautical. Any provenance on this? It would be nice to see more of him.

DeleteHe floats my boat too whether or not he was a salty sea dog. Actually, I could see him making a good pirate!

The fur factor here is indeed a big bonus.

ReplyDeleteSo I'm not the only one who finds him hard to age. That's a rare quality, and trust you to find it.
DeleteLOL. Yes, I'm thinking 30s. But, his ageless quality is rather lovely.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I thought it was Milo's work, but your version makes more sense.
