Piers in NYC


Mr. Hujar spent some time cruising the piers in New York, but I'm sure he was there 
for artistic purposes only.  This shot above shows two opposite methods of attracting a trick, 
one wearing next to nothing and the other way over the top with bondage and leather gear.

      I was visiting NYC regularly back then and knew about the piers. I stayed away, though, because my local friends told me they were dangerous, both in terms of rough trade and accidents from the decayed docks.
