When I was a teenager, I recall that in the 70s you could cruise into The Gap and have a choice between "straight" and "flared" jeans. Similar to now, although the choices have got much more nuanced and complicated! Huston

Thanks, Huston! I had bell bottoms in the early 70s.
DeleteFlare legs were still in, in the LATE 70'S, leg-pegging showed up about 1981.

ReplyDeleteI should know, I wore them in High School at that time.
