Zaro
This image of Zaro Rossi is the first of two in today's series where subtlety takes
precedence over dramatic contrast. There's a mystery to this one that makes it special.
All I can say is "oh oh oh!". There's no mystery that this is a man, but...you are right, Jerry, there is STILL a subtle aura that cannot be defined or pinned down.
What was I just saying about setting the bar high? This is an absolutely beautiful photo. Superb lighting, subtle contrast and a beautiful model all make for something truly special. The way the light captures his maleness is beautiful. This will definitely go onto my all-time favourites list.

He looks almost as though he's balanced on a ledge in an amazing combination of delicacy and power.
Delete"... an amazing combination of delicacy and power." You've nailed it, Jerry. This is a photo to treasure.

I like your description better than mine.
ReplyDeleteHard to appreciate other excellent photos after that one. Perfect lighting that leaves the viewer to add his own interpretation.
ReplyDeleteIt does leave the rest of the pack far behind.
