My method of selecting photos for themed sets is to start with more than I need and edit down to a cohesive group. (That's the theory, anyway.) This results in leftovers, which I have started keeping for a rainy day when I can't think of a theme. So here we are with some rejects, starting with one that I find hard to imagine I somehow left out. Other than the perhaps unwise probability that he is considering taking a swim in an industrial harbor basin, I can find no fault here.
I agree, Jerry, he's hardly a reject or a leftover! Handsome, hung, and built...I'll take two, please.

ReplyDeleteWell, this background is particularly interesting to me, too. I somehow feel a need to know where this was and what all the industrial gear is for.
DeleteAnd me. His fine physique acts as an excellent foil to the industrial landscape.
DeleteThat's a float bridge or apron between shore and a railroad train ferry boat or barge. I don't think Los Angeles had any, but many Pacific coast ports North of there did.
ReplyDeleteI thought that might have been a lift bridge of some sort or perhaps a coal loading apparatus.
