Denny Denfield was an early and effective adopter of color work in physique photography when it was really quite rare. Today we will look at ten examples, starting with this one of Sherwood Cartee. Now I was used to seeing Mr. Cartee as a Western Photography Guild model, but no less an authority than Mike the Content Producer has attributed this one to Mr. Denfield.
What an utter stunner. Low camera angle shot, Graded blue sky and green vegetation. And Mr Cartee's ace pose and skin tones. Love it.

ReplyDeleteI have been tempted as of late to purchase "California Dreamtime: The Secret Nudes Of Denny Denfield" to add to my collection as well as "Comin' At Ya!" which are in 3-D of all things! I have yet to find copies that are mint and less then $300.
