And last, but far from least, we have Richard Winters, one of the soldiers upon whose service the series Band of Brothers was based. His Easy Company was trained at Camp Toccoa, Georgia where this photo was taken in 1942. If you haven't seen Band of Brothers, you should.

ReplyDeleteHow it pains me to see the American people elect a man unfit for the Presidency, a President elect who dared call our veterans, just like the fine men in these photos, losers and suckers. And that coming out of the mouth of a spoiled rotten bastard who had the contrived excuse of bone spurs when it came for his time to serve, a conscientious objector has more moral fiber than that.
