Jules Bacon
Mr. America of 1943 was Jules Bacon, a bodybuilder who posed numerous times
for Al Urban and went on to found a chain of fitness gyms in Pennsylvania.
Bacon had a great aesthetic physique, typical of a bodybuilder in his day. Bacon was from the York Barbell Club of Pennsylvania where other bodybuilder greats trained. Urban use to hit the gyms on the East Coast to recruit his physique models. Rex in DC
