It's not easy to find Al Urban photos that don't feature full frontal nudity, with covered and derriere shots being a small percentage of his surviving work. Even his magazine covers and spreads tended to be retouched nudes with drawn-in posing straps. As a bonus series today, I am posting four side by side comparisons to show just how Urban worked this angle. We start with Louis Abele on the November, 1940 cover of Strength and Health magazine.
