Metecue Associates Day, Part 1 - Various Nudes

Metecue Associates was an Ypsilanti, Michigan based physique photo studio operated by Edward Quirk, likely a pseudonym.  Quirk was active as early as 1959 as Quirk Studio, but didn't get widely published until 1967 when he changed the name to Metecue.  In its heyday, Metecue  photos appeared in a number of magazines and independently distributed sets and booklets.  Quirk even had a newsletter called Metecue Memo to promote sales.  So today we'll take a look at some of Mr. Quirk's work, both nude and not so nude, starting with Bob Randall.

  2. I have said this before on this blog, but it was men like this that first caught my eye in my father’s naturist and porn magazines in the 1970s. As an adolescent male discovering his sexuality, body hair and facial hair implied maturity and masculinity, a man in his sexual prime and the kind of man I wanted to cradle me in his arms. 40 years later, I still have a thing for very hairy men!

    1. I have always wondered if such preferences are built in or imprinted on us by experience at some early point in our sexual development.

    2. This is a very interesting subject. There are numerous studies about sexual orientation (what gender you are attracted to) but I can find very little about sexual preference (the features you specifically look for in the gender that you are drawn to). If anybody has anything to explain why this adolescent male developed a lifelong preference for hairy men, please let me (and no doubt many others) know.
