Sonny Angel and Jim Alvey look like they're on one of Mizer's movie sets.

    1. How did they decide which films to release? And whete can a man see them?

    2. That's interesting, James. Seems like Mizer would want to recoup the cost . . . unless it was so bad it would tarnish the brand reputation. The models look pretty good to me, fwiw.

  2. For the most part, Mizer would make the film and put it in the can. Then he would promote the film as "coming soon" and ask for preorders -- or at least feedback from his customers if they may be interested. That way he didn't have to physically make the films for distribution until the order was actually received. Of course, it could also be the film itself had a technical issue at the "lab" and was useless to sell.

    1. Well, a "testing the waters" business approach in such matters does make sense. Also, given the sometimes spotty technical quality of the movies he did distribute, I'm not surprised there were rejects.
