Douglas of Detroit took this fine photo of an oiled and very blonde Larry Steiner.
That's an interesting question. Probably the same sort that bodybuilders used. Google says baby oil was used for a long time (didn't say exactly how long, though) and is now being supplanted by purpose formulated petroleum free products. Why? It seems that baby oils can sometimes cause spray-on tans to run.
It looks almost like he had an oil bath. Jerry, do you know if they used a particular kind of oil for these shots?
