Robert Mapplethorpe Day
I've been overdue for a second Robert Mapplethorpe series, so today is the day.
We start with Alan Lynes from 1979 in a somewhat bizarre shot.
An every day sight, surely, in certain circles, at certain times of the year.

DeleteSuicide by bow and arrow...a unique but probably ineffective method.
ReplyDeleteI think he's jumping rope with a rope that's way too long.
DeleteIf he managed to get it caught up in that hair, he might hang himself, so your suicide theory could have some traction.
DeleteHis hair and the rope have a relationship but I'm not sure what it is. Very erotic and very intriguing!
