This is just a general question. Do these models, and others normally get their chest shaved? I thought normally Caucasian men had more chest hair than these guys would indicate.
That's a good question. Some of the models who were bodybuilders removed body hair so that their muscle definition would be more pronounced in competitions. From the mid-1930s through the mid-1960s, a fairly high proportion of male nude models were bodybuilders, and that's why they were called physique models. When the obscenity laws loosened up in the late 60s, a lot of younger guys started modeling, and many of them didn't yet have chest hair.
