Basking
Although the model appears to be napping, I'm not sure that position would work well for it.
Perhaps he was just basking in the sun with his eyes closed.
A classic photo by von Gloeden of a male nude with the terra cotta planter, the vase with a tambourine dancer and the tiger print rug all evoking Ancient Greece. Very well composed in natural sunlight, not an easy task for any photographer….:)
