David Vibe
Our final Von Gloeden photo gives me a "David" vibe.
Classic image in von Gloeden’s classical style, so wanting to emulate Ancient Greece and Rome. Gloeden himself wrote that he learned the then difficult technique of photography from the pharmacist Giuseppe Bruno of Taormina (as pharmacists at that time would sell photographic chemicals). Gloeden was also influenced by photographer Giuseppe Crupi of Taormina in outdoor lighting, and his own cousin Guiglielmo Pluschow in other aspects of photography. Rex in DC
Pluschow and Galdi both, the Italian authorities were none too pleased with the scandal they caused. They should have acquired models of an appropriate age.

The cousin was a profound influence and even more into under age models than v.G.
