Margaret Hoening French - The Juggler

This is The Juggler by Margaret Hoening French, and to me, it symbolizes here life in the very unique love triangle the was PaJaMa.  We see a woman, juggling fire while walking a tightrope, being observed by three men.  One of the men resembles George Platt Lynes, and the other two could easily be Jared French and Paul Cadmus.  Even the dog had a place in their lives.  Pure genius!

  1. Despite my ambivalence about women here, this is an intriguing painting. 🖼️ I'd enjoy it solely for the Chihuahua! 🌷

I've been conditioned to see so many obscene and demeaning images of women, I barely know how to react after seeing a respectable one, but it's refreshing. 🪷🪻

    1. If I've helped broaden your horizon, even in a small way, then all the work I put into this blog is worth it. Thank you for commenting.

  2. Une dame en équilibre !
A very clever and insightful portrait by Mademoiselle French. Nonetheless it had to have been a torment in her marriage. Many ladies stand by their men no matter what, for others the divorce is in the mail !
