Five Men, One Surfboard, and Zero Authenticity

Our Saturday set features five guys using the same surfboard as a prop in a poolside setting, and there's no beach in sight.  I have a strong feeling that these are AMG models, but no proof.
Edited to add:  Viewer jsstrand tells us in the notes that these are indeed all AMG photos.  Thanks!

  1. You are correct - it's all AMG - the surfboard is white with yellow and that center circle is dark grey - I'll look in my "Bob's World" book and see if it talks about the pool

    1. Thanks! I'd be interested to know about that pool since I have a lot of other photos that might have been made there.

  2. From "Bob's World" - there is no mention in the text of the pool itself - however there is an arial photo taken by police surveillance in 1964 that shows the Mizer compound at the time consisting of what looks like at least 6 houses linked together with the pool behind the house farthest from the street (if you look carefully you can see nude figures by the pool) according to the text, all the varios sets and props were all contained within the compound - all the business was conducted from there as well as some of the models also lived there and helped with maintanance and upkeep - there is another arial photo taken in 1992 when Mizer died "leaving behind a compound covering 3/4 acre, inhabited by members of his entourage, half dozen models, 7 dogs and as many cats, 3 rabbits, 2 goats, one monkey and untold amount of poultry. Wayne Stanley evicted the models, found homes for all the pets, cleaned, divided, and sold off the property. All that remained of Bob's World were films, photographs, old magazines and memories".

    1. Thanks for the very interesting info! The part about the animals explains why fully 3/4 of my collection of male nudes with critters are by Bob. The goats and the monkey were used with several models each. I think there might have been cockatiels and parrots among the "poultry," based on some photos I have. As for the monkey, I hope it was even tempered because they have a reputation for going nasty and yanking violently on hair and dangling body parts.

  3. I think the model might be David Minaric - however, I have never run across a full frontal of him so I did any be sure
